RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION

Our Religious Education program at Ascension is exciting and fun! We have a strong group of volunteer Catechists and assistants who are dedicated to passing down the faith using the arts, music, family catechesis and engaging events. 

• Our youngest follow the Catechist of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori approach to sharing our Catholic faith with Pre-K and K (children aged 3 through 6). 
• We offer separate classes for younger and older kids preparing for First Communion, and offer sacramental preparation through the 12th grade.
• We offer exciting enrichment classes for children who are in-between sacraments, a fun way for them to keep up with their faith and friends from church! 
• Our Confirmation preparation follows the “Giver of Life” program. Confirmandi are encouraged to do service in the food pantry, shelter or elder program.
• We also offer weekday after school classes (Tues/Wed from 4 to 5:30 p.m.). We offer RCIA for teens, Spanish language classes and Special Education classes. 
• Students who receive Confirmation are welcome to join the Ascension Youth Group, The Spirit Squad.
