OUR FOCUS
Our mission is to build a community of love and peace that practices Jesus’ teachings based on worshiping God and being a person for others: an instrument of love, peace and justice to the world.
We emphasize practicing real devotion, which means to develop in ourselves the good qualities of Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary and the Saints through prayer, study and experience.
We teach children the importance of prayer, social justice, of acceptance of others, of being humble and able to ask for God’s advice and listen to others, of practicing reconciliation, of living with moderation and simplicity, of choosing wise decisions, of making free and intelligent choices which reach out to the world, of cultivating a contemplative life in communion with all creation, and of living a sacramental life.
OUR CHILDREN
Our children range in age from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade and participate in on-going faith formation through prayer, study, and the arts. We celebrate together every Sunday at the 11:00 a.m. mass. Holy Sacraments are received after the completion of required periods of preparation.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
We teach our students the importance of service, the vocation of all Christians. The types of community services assigned to students between 7 th and 12th grade are service to the parish, the environment, senior citizens, the hungry, the poor, the homeless, the displaced and to other children of our community.
You can also serve as a volunteer. In order to run a safe, rich, and cost conscious program the Religious Education Program depends on volunteers to serve as catechists, classroom aids, office assistants, health and safety volunteers, parent liaisons, and on advisory committees.
