Mission Statement
Our Faith Formation Program is meant to provide parishioners of all ages an opportunity to join our community and grow in faith. Our focus is on understanding the basic tenets of Catholicism, especially that God loves us, Jesus gave his life to save us, and Christ is alive, especially through the good works that we do for our neighbors.
With a focus on understanding Scripture, an emphasis on the role that women have played and continue to play in lay and ecclesiastic ministries, a core focus on Catholic Social Teaching and the importance of saying, hear I am to those in need around us, all while using inclusive language and teaching styles to ensure that everyone feels welcome to learn with us.
Sacramental preparation is included, however it is not the sole focus of our programming. Instead we seek to create lifelong learners of the faith, and strong members of our Catholic community. We look forward to welcoming you!
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful.
And kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
And you will renew the face of the earth.
We meet on Wednesdays 4:30pm-5:30pm or Sundays 9:30am-10:30am in the Parish Center (221 West 107th Street, below the church building).
