We have added one second collection per month during the summer months to help defray the costs of our utilities. As you may imagine, electricity costs rise due to air conditioning. Even with the church's new energy efficiend A/C units, there are still older window units, older central A/C units, etc.

Additionally, our water usage increases. We constantly are hosing down the property and performing extra cleaning due to the summer rise in the rat activity. Garbage areas are washed in order to have foul odors coming into the church.
