The Ascension Church Homeless Shelter welcomed its first guests on December 19 ^th, it was a wonderful kick-off! We continue to run the shelter every Saturday night, offering a hot meal, warm bed and friendly conversation for up to twenty men. We are currently seeking volunteers to stay the night and supervise. Training will be provided -- you will stay with another experienced volunteer, and have lots of help and support. Please consider becoming a “sleeper”.
