Our Parish has established a Music Ministry which not only prides itself on its excellence but reflects the diversity of our community. Each Mass features music in a different style, from the grand traditional chorus at the 11 am Sunday Mass, to the energetic and passionate Walkirios at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass, to the unique Jazz Mass at 6 pm on Sunday. Though reflecting different musical experiences and cultural backgrounds, we are united in the goal for all of our musical liturgies and concerts: to offer the very best in praise and worship to our God.

• Ascension Choir: The Ascension Choir is a semi-professional English choir of women and men, at least of high school age, who sing for the 11 am Mass on Sundays and other liturgical feast days.
• The Walkirios: The Walkirios group was founded on July 9, 1968-69, with the mission to form a cultural, social, and Christian group, in which the young people of the community could form an identity for themselves in this society. The Walkirios group always sings on Sunday morning at the 9:30 a.m. Mass, and also participates in other special celebrations.
• Jazz Mass: Every Sunday at 6:00 pm, Ascension has a mass featuring a jazz trio that plays original compositions, arrangements of traditional hymns and music by composers such as Billy Strayhorn and Duke Ellington.
• Coro Hispano: Performs Sundays at 12:30 pm in Spanish.

Please support this concert series for the Parish and Community. Admission is free and open to the public.
